$250 OFF Smart Garage Door Opener Installation (Belt & Chain Drive with California SB 969 Battery Backup) in Long Beach, CA

Q: Are battery backup garage openers required by law in California?

Yes, 100%. Under California Senate Bill 969, all newly installed residential garage door openers in California must include an operational battery backup system. This law protects homeowners by ensuring you can open your garage door and safely evacuate your vehicle during wildfires, earthquakes, or power grid outages in Long Beach.

Q: What is the difference between belt-drive and chain-drive openers?

Belt-drive openers use steel-reinforced rubber belts and operate virtually silently, making them ideal for Long Beach homes with bedrooms or living spaces adjacent to or above the garage. Chain-drive openers use heavy-duty steel chains and offer rugged, cost-effective power for detached garages and heavier doors. Our $250 discount applies to both types!

Q: Can I operate the opener during a power outage in Long Beach?

Yes. The integrated California SB 969 battery backup automatically kicks in during a blackout, providing up to 50 complete open and close cycles so your car is never trapped.

Q: Can I control the new opener from my smartphone?

Yes, 100%. Our openers feature built-in Wi-Fi with the MyQ app, allowing you to open or close your garage from anywhere, receive instant motion alerts, and allow secure in-garage package deliveries.

Q: How do I redeem the $250 discount?

Call our Long Beach dispatch office at (323) 657-4456 and quote promo code OPENER250 to lock in your $250 discount on any new belt or chain drive battery backup opener.
